Ricci is a Project Officer on the BSL:QED research project currently being carried out at UCLan. His role involves developing BSL Curriculum in Higher Education.  He is also BSL tutor for Stage One students and liaising with the Department of Applied Languages at UCLan for the delivery of a BSL Elective.

Ricci is well known in the British Deaf community as an impersonator of celebrities, statesmen/women and infamous Deaf people.  He is also well known for some of his storytelling and comedy sides in different events.  He was also involved in Deaf television programmes.
